Bob; Here are my second guesses.
Check for glue or debris at your air restrictor jet
You probably have but double check needle seating and slide travel.
Try blowing out you pilot circuit.
Good luck, I know this can be frustrating. Day before yesterday I picked up
a bad tank of gas and while at Deal's Gap I had to clean out the filter
right there. It was filthy. Then yesterday going to Asheville my float stuck
open just pulling into downtown, I guess some of that dirt got by my
filter.So you know the routine. Pull off the airbox, drain carbs, blow thru
drain hoses and tap bowls with metal object. Well it worked, we went on two
meet some fellow maxers. cheers
