ok here we go. bear with me. ive read the archives but i dont think it
applys. i have a 2000 Max with about three thousand miles on it. at about
400 miles i started to get a little "pop" when i started to take off from a
stop sign after i would blip the throttle at the roll up to the stop sign.
get it? slow down, down shift, blip the throttle with clutch pulled in, take
off and "POP", almost like a sticking valve.(had a set of 202s that did this
once). anyway, tonight while playing "dodge the deer" here in upstate new
york, i took off hard from a stop sign,(didnt blip the throttle this time),
and it started to skip. nothing would stop it including stoping for gas and
limping it home. pulled the plugs and they all looked decent except one
smelled really bad!. put them back in and it seemed like it went away. i
didnt take it out, just pulled it into the shed but when i twisted the
throttle the response was there. HELP!
