Yo Vgas'rs!!
I have 39 mm FCR Kehin on my Vmax and am having some problems getting the
set up right.
Originally I had 145 mains and 60 pilots. The bike ran fat everywhere. The
plugs were fowled, the exhaust was coated with soot (inside) and the mileage
was half of what is was before. Others tell me they got a slight increase
in mileage.
At this time we have changed the mains down to 135, the pilots to 55 and the
mixture is out by ~3 turns. The bike runs better but is still fat from 0 to
1/2 throttle. There is a flat spot around 3-4K. Mileage has increased by
~40%.
My next step is going to be putting in 130 mains and then 50 or 45 pilots.
I could certainly use some insight into getting the big guy running the way
it should.
