TC, After going back again and reading past posts about possible popping
through the carbs,i realized this subject has been covered to extreme.
Thanks for all the great posts in the past. they were a big help.anyway, i
went and drilled the brass plugs and found that indeed the settings were
different on each cylinder. i pulled each pilot screw and blew compressed
air through each one. i reinserted each one at 2 turns out.i then
syncronized the carbs so they were exactly even. took the bike out and pulls
strong although it feels just a little flat at about 4500.top end pull is
phenomenal!too rich? anyway the pop is still there. im wondering if this is
a vacuum piston or needle arbitrarily hanging up for a split second. this
popping is not consistent but i can make it do it if i throttle in little
short bursts about ten or twelve times. note: it doesnt pop until i get back
on the throttle, not on decel. what do you think? anybody?
