I mean, letting aside the technical reasons, it seems like a win/win
situation
I agree! Chrome desktop/mobile (and Safari) should just add ASM.js support.
That way, cross platform apps could more effectively compete with native
apps.
Firefox OS soft launched. Their apps are all HTML5 based, with ASM.js
support. Mozilla is on board.
Hopefully Google is up for it! They've already improved their WebView a
huge amount with Android 4.4, which is pretty exciting. Apple on the other
hand, still denies JIT to their WebViews. Pretty obvious what's going on
there. :'(
Anyways. It's up to us developers to make killer apps which encourage
ASM.js' adoption. Let's start making them!
