can consider rust lang? i think it is promissing.

An advantage of Vala is it has first class bindings to a large number of
excellent projects, e.g. GStreamer, Gtk+.A quick search on Rust found this
tutorial dated December 2015, but now advises "This guide is no longer
compatible with the current codebase and thus will be rewritten in the
future.":https://mmstickman.wordpress.com/2015/12/12/phoronix-reader-rust-programming-tutorial/
https://www.gitbook.com/book/mmstick/rust-programming-phoronix-reader-how-to/details
So maybe there is some way for Rust to go on the bindings front. I didn't look
too much at other differences.
Can you elaborate on your experiences with Rust and Vala that makes you
recommend Rust?
Personally, I find it encouraging the Marcin Lewandowski and RadioKit are
looking to employ a Vala programmer. Marcin has filed a number of useful bug
reports after I think investing some considerable time in using Vala. I hope
the Vala community continues to grow and address some of those issues.
