Hello, Here I am reassured. I'm glad to hear that Vala is still alive. Frankly, I loved it developed in Delphi and now I find again the pleasure of coding with Vala.
Between Glade and Vala, Windows/Linux/Other portability, it's a pleasure to use Vala. By the way, I think I understand Vala could be used to develop stand alone application (server or client side) but not for "web applications" which used asynchronous oriented developpement.
