If we can agree that this pair of comments reflects our intended testing architecture with respect to the '--enable-preview' option, then I'll go ahead and integrate this PR to reduce the noise in the Valhalla CI. I will also file a new issue for main-line and make the same comment adjustments there and then sync them down to repo-valhalla.
