Hi Arch, Infact I have been to more places in the USA in the last 11 yrs than in my 25 years of life in India..but thats how it is, we tend to take things for granted in our own country..travel and tourism is not part of life, atleast in our home it didnt use to be..the idea of travel and visit was going to south India to my grandparents' place, or to some distant cousin's wedding or thread ceremony, most of the time..
The beginning few years here I always behaved like a "tourist" going around the country sightseeing and partially it was due to my husband's work. But u know what, the local people here are amazed that I have seen Niagara Falls (which is a 7 hr drive from our place) or even New York city (even less, 3.5 hrs drive)..for us its no big deal, but for them its like unreachable..most of my clients have'nt even left Massachusetts in their whole life..
