Instead of aligning the VASSAL grid to match your
scanned/drawn map, match the map's grid to one outputted
by VASSAL. I found that trying to get the hexgrid in
VASSAL to match the original map a nightmare. Using tools
in your graphics program, I found it's much easier to
skew/stretch/rotate/stretch the original map to match a
hexgrid that was produced in VASSAL first.
