I will take a look at those you mentions, w/ the exception of GIMP. I installed GIMP a while ago and my eyes crossed--there is no user manual and the interface is for those w/ much experience in advanced photo editing along the lines of Photoshop Pro. It amazes me--the talent pool (I am excepted, of course) that is devoted to these games.
