RFE 1604269 (Specify keystrokes by name) addresses this: VASSAL uses key strokes as signals to send message between components, e.g. triggers, global key commands. Instead of having to come up with new CTRL-ALT-SHIFT key combinations, editors should be able to give a name such as !triggerDamage. Behind the scenes, the VASSAL editor will convert this into a KeyStroke that cannot be entered accidentally by a player during game time. rk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
