Sent. In the meantime adding a .zip extension to the saved logfile seems to
eliminate the missing data issue. I haven't tried actually naming the
logfile, when prompted, with a .zip extension so maybe I will try that, as
well. 
 
Any idea how the .zip is getting appended to his logfile?

If you don't mind sharing your log files, could you send me directly
([EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:tim%40pelican.org> org) the same logfile once as
initially generated with no
extension, and once renamed with the .zip? Send in two separate emails
just to make sure nothing interferes.

I'll have a look this evening and see if I can work out what's going on...
