Hi all,
On FC12 (X82) host, with
VirtualBox-3.1-3.1.4_57640_fedora12-1.i686
Win XP Pro as guest.

After installing guest addition in the guest, I rebooted.
Then I wanted to see if I could set the display resolution
to 1280X800. Well, I could not as none of the resolutions
provided by the VBox driver were 1280X800.
So, I decided to set the resolution to 1024X768 since that
lets me see all the edges of the guest display.
After some windows updates, I had to reboot.
Upon reboot, I took a second look to see if I was missing
the 1280X800 resolution. Lo and behold, the highest resolution
being provided was now 1024X716 (not 768)!!!
I checked the advanced -> Adapter -> List All Modes
and sure enough, the highest resolution is 1024X716.

What's going on here??

Could Sun please provide a patch to the Graphics emulator
and the Virtual Box Graphics Adapter driver provided by the
guest addons, that will provide a 1280x800 resolution?

Thanx.

JD
