Also open develpoment distribution that continues OpenSolaris
is called: OpenIndiana.
(OpenIndiana is in second dev version and to be based on IllumOS OS/Net
code consolidation)
- one that Oracle closed souce for further development untill Solaris 11
is Out. (If Oracle ever release it, that is)
On Positive side, effort is being made by all people outside Oracle to
replace all remaining closed source parts and in meantime,
Illumos/OpenIndiana does not have usage restrictions imposed by Oracle
for Solaris/Express.
