What exactly do you mean by "outside of VBox"? Isn't it all going to the 
same disk? I am not following you there.  How long have you had the SSD? 
It's my understanding that they wear out much more quickly, and I read that 
when they die, they die suddenly without much warning. I don't know about 
that.  Thanks.
