Hi David,

Yes, saying `to the best of ... my knowledge' is very civil and polite
however saying 'Knock. Knock.' is not.

I mention my remark in public not to embarrass you but rather for
others to see and judge me.  If anyone thinks I'm being heavy-handed,
I expect either a private or a public message.
