Exactly. I have a limit, though, and that is space. As I live in a small
apartment I had to throw to the garbage all my CRT monitors, and many of my
pre-Pentium III machines. Those are too bulky anyway for what they provide
(even a Raspberry Pi or an Atom based embedded board can run circles
around, and use a fraction of the power).
However, the 8-bit machines and 16-bit machines are a whole different
leage, and things like the Transmeta Crusoe CPU -which started the current
"low power" trend... a decade too early- are keepers. ;) -along with about
eight PalmOS based PDAs and Garmin GPS-.
