with the guest RUNNING, I use the devices menu item to attempt to attach the thumb drive. There is no check box and where a list of devices should be, I see "no devices attached". The host is Linux running opensuse 13.2 (kernel 3.17.1-53). The thumb drive IS recognized by the host system and can be mounted, (although is not mounted).
