I had similar problems with win7 guests run --headless from a Linux server on our LAN after upgrading from 5.2 to 6.0.x. The windows guest became incredibly slow and unresponsive (and suffered from muuuuuuuulllllltiplleeeeee keypresses) I never did figure out why. There was discussion on this list and a bug opened, but the only solution that worked for win7 guests being run --headless was to downgrade to 5.2.x (currently 5.2.42 -- which builds and runs fine on Linux 5.7.x kernel) I'm not sure what this means for a Mac. But it is a quick test to try the 5.2 package and see if the problems go away. This is just a guess, but it can at lease provide one additional data-point. -- David C.
