G'day everyone I have VirtualBox on Windows XP Professional, and I've successfully installed Ubuntu Linux 6.10 on it. It works great, and I can access the internet. But I can't access my flash drive, nor can I access a CD-ROM.
I have the CD-ROM mounted, but I can't access the contents (nor see it) of the CD-ROM. As for the flash drive, I mount it as a floppy in VirtualBox, and Ubuntu sees the flash drive, but not the contents of it (I know this because I have 1.6 GB free space on my flash drive and Ubuntu reports "1.6 GB free" space on the floppy drive. Any pointers? Is there a checklist of things I should do before I get worried?
