Hi again

I've just tried again but it appears not to work, perhaps I omitted a step
or did something wrong. This is the configuration at global settings
(default):

------------------------------
File -> Preferences -> Network
Host-only networks:
   vboxnet0 network
      - Adapter 192.168.56.1 Mask 255.255.255.0
      - Serv. 192.168.56.100 Mask 255.255.255.0 Low 192.168.56.101 Up
192.168.56.254
------------------------------

and this is the VM configuration
------------------------------
VM settings -> Network
   Adapter 1: Attached to Host-only
------------------------------

Do I have to add a SECOND adapter and configure it as Host-only? Or only set
the unique main adapter as Host-only (that didn't work)?

My WinXP guest network interface is configured as automatic (dhcp) that is
working fine for NAT, but not for Host-only (should it remain as automatic?)

Thanks for your help
