Centos 5.4 64 bit sorry I didnt mention it, and the adapter I tried
unsuccessfully were the MT desktop, and the MT server.
In my initial testing I must have missed the T server.  I dont
remember even seeing that before.

anyway upon testing the T server adapter this AM that seems to work,
so at least now I have gigabit inside my linux guests.

Thanks for making me take a better look at this.

FreeBSD guest still doesn't like any adapter but the pcnet II
