When i try using an old version of vpopmail, namely 5.3.20 it all works fine, and there are no problems at all. This is tested on FreeBSD 4.7, FreeBSD 5.0, FreeBSD 5.1, and FreeBSD 4.8. All the RELEASE branch. Compiled from the ports.
