Patch Set 3: @MarkWu, Re: 1) We use qemu-nbd so that in future when the backup appliance is hosted on a physical host (not in VM) then too it should work. qemu-nbd provides the ability to export a disk image over network as a block device irrespective of virt/host app and backup software vendors too need block device interface for backing up data Re. 2) Backup VA is a VM inside oVirt DC host and all host can access all storage, so adding more constraints just for Backup case is not preferred. Also in future we also need to support possibility of Backup running directly on anotehr host. Also backup server is a 3rd party app, which will access oVirt via REST APIs only, its doens't make sense for it to be able to expose to the different storage domain of oVirt..
