I'm interested in hackle tie in techniques. Do you wind the thread behind the hackle, back from the eye, wind the hackle and then run the thread through it? Do you tie in at the back of the hackle and wind the hackle up to the eye and tie off at the eye without winding the thread through it? Do you always tie it in wide end first or narrow end first? Inquiring minds want to know. take a moment and let me know your technique and why it works well for you. Joyce
