Jerry.
We are in Eagle nest now and the lake is open for fishing and camping, but all
Federal Lands and State Parks are still closed due very dry conditions and a
very high fire danger. Red River is closed, Cimerron River through the State
Park is closed. I have seen some nice trout coming out of the lake, heard of a
few salmon. From shore and boat.

Just for your information

Well it looks like trout fishing in Arkansas is going to be sad this year
again, to much water.

But, I do have a 12 day trip planned for Eagle Nest, NM in August, any
suggestion are welcome
as to water, flies, or technique.
