Pete, Wish you were close by I would be glad to show you how I do it. It is almost identical to how Tim does it and I get the same results. I tie in my wings with the butts fwd instead of back, either way will work. Less bulk tied in like Tim does it. For separating the wing slips, I found a small divider tool that is adjustable for width. It has two points that separate with a handle about 4". I can't remember where I got it or what it was used for. It is perfect for splitting the slips. Have you done anything on those bamboo rods. Tony
