Well, I’m glad that I did not spoil it for other European tiers ;-) I knew that I was the exotic element among the tiers so I decided to bring something that perhaps some people hadn’t seen yet: CDC.
Because I did not want to have to look through my CDC bags each time I tied a fly, I decided to sort the CDC feathers by size: 24 bigger ones for the wings and 24 smaller ones for the body, in 2 colors each. And just when I wanted to tie the first fly, these big ceiling fans that I hadn’t noticed switched on...
