wish my cones were a tad smaller, with more rounded peaks,  Kim, I think could have 
used a couple
more....

  With the cable tie/weed wacker line approach, it becomes important to keep the 
"fingers"
relatively short, and as straight as possible,  lest they hook a bit and actually 
catch the line,
the opposite of the desired effect.....


  Of course  a basket without is almost as good...   I have currently gone with a 
combination  of
the two,  adding some big cable ties to filling  the empty spots....   (not that you 
wish to
completely cover the bottom of the basket  with  peaks....  about  40%  high area to 
60% low  is a
good approximation.
I did  re-install my cable ties, how ever, to get them straighter......
