Hi Gang and Byard,

this is a great day for me and and the international post and mail systems.
The words 'snail mail' have a new meaning.

I renewed my VFB membership in February 02. Byard send out the package in
Feb, 6th. I didn't informed him that it did not arrive on time. I do not
wanted him that he sends out a second one.

The package finally made it to Germany. 5 months and 15 days. Wow...

Unfortunately it does not carry much of postal stamps on it. So I cannot see
where it was delayed. NH out is 6th of Feb. A sticker from Frankfurt Airport
customs is on it, therefor I asume it went by airmail. Between Frankfurt and
Cologne are some hills. I always thought that they use trucks to carry the
goods. But even snails must be faster on these 100 miles.

Paul M., I guess this tops your experience with the canadian post.

We had a little earthquake this morning, very unusual in this area. Probaly
this awoke some sleepy post clerks sleeping on my package.

BTW: Content of the parcel is really great, love it. Thanks a lot to Byard.
And now a have a really nice tyed awesome fly..

Regards
Rene

P.S. is a post office on Mars? Probably the parcell went into the wrong
shuttle... <GGG>
