Not worth much at all,  Bill. Maybe $10-20 tops.  Kinda like Popiel's 
Pocket Fisherman.
There were lots of "automatic" fly reels made back in the 50's and even 
today, but to see one on a trout rod is a total rarity!  An oddity for 
sure, but don't you dare trade your target pistols for it.
