>How about a thread on favorite tying or fishing gadgets? How about a handy tying gadget that is free. Go to a computer repair place and have them give you an old dead hard drive. Then tear it apart. Easier said than done, because those things are starting to be built like a bank vault (used to be six screws and pop the top).
Once you get inside, figure out where the magnet is and remove it. These things are great when you drop a hook or two.....or more. I had a brand new box of size 28 hooks that I was showing my wife. Of course, I turned it over and 2/3 of them fell off the table.......INTO the carpet. I got my computer magnet and "swept" the carpet with it.
