I really like the looks of the tarpon flies.  I was going to see if they
would work on large mouth bass?  What do you think?  Your right about the
tapes.  I have a few I like.  Most of mine are East Coast tiers.  I think
the flies would probably still work.  It does look like we chase some
different fish and we do a lot of surf fishing and rocks.  Unless you have
access to a boat. We do have salt marshes but they aren't the same from what
I can tell.  Haven't noticed any Oscars... Or big green lizards.  I take
that back... They found a Cayman a couple months ago.  Sneaking suspicion it
came from that pet shop.
