I have had a couple of people give me advice on repellents that were
supposed to be effective (I usually use a heavy DEET) One was Basic H by
Shaklee. I meet some guys fishing up in Jimi's area in NE NM near Cimarron
and they suggested Basic H. Seems it was also very effective with the
biting flies in the area and had the bonus as a soap to just was off at the
end. In the same vein, some friends from Wisconsin were using Palmolive
dish soap. No guarantee just information.
