You can use silicone. (GE clear silicone is available at Walmart usually
near the paint dept) Bob Popovics uses this on some of his saltwater flies.
You can use a product called Photo Flo on your fingers to help shape the fly
and keep the silicone from adhearing to your fingers. I've also heard that
ivory liquid soap will work in the same manner.
