black brown tan all make good bodies
but
if you gettin horse hair look for clean white translucent hair
from a stallion or gelding (it matters)

tails - as required
underbody - silver gold or colours as required
body - 1 strand white horse hair neatly wound
rib - counter wound wire
hackle - as required
wings - as required

can be overpainted with superglue or clear varnish for strength

So does anybody know of good uses for this stuff... can you make body's with it?

I'll get back to you if this stuff works out. Thank you. I tie with this guy on a pretty regular basis so I thought I would just try some out. He will probably have some good ideas on how to use it. :0)
