where do the US democrat/republicans stand on fishing.

I ask this only because the british labour (socialist)
governmant is against hunting shooting fishing.
as well as freedom of speach & the right to almost anything)

You're right - everyone in this country has a voice, it's just a shame that you feel the need to use yours to try and outlaw things other people hole near and dear to their hearts. Fly fishing, and fishing in general, bring familes closer together. How is that bad? Just because that's not the way you would do it doesn't make it bad. It's also a shame the only way we can keep the right to chose to fish is to use our voices in an attempt to be louder than you. If you're against creulty to animals, don't kick a puppy or fish or hunt or wear fur or vote Republican or whatever else is on your agenda for the day. You're not going to convince anyone here that what we do is cruel so please leave us alone. We'll decide what we think is cruel and what isn't.
