Well I have put three sets of feathers thru the dye I got in the Easter Egg Kits.   Emu feather come out with vivid colors in two days.   Turkey body feathers pick up some of the color after 5 days.   Pheasant tail feathers picked up more of the dye after 5 days.  Put a couple of emu feathers in each dye color and they came out the same as the first ones I did.   I get red, blue, orange, green, purple and orange.   They are color fast when dry, but will stain my hands if I get the solution on them.  I am using a pair of rubber gloves so I don't go home with tell tale signs on my hands.   Rick
