   One of the best trips I ever took was when Diane and I were on a cruise to Alaska.  When we pulled into Ketchikan,

I grabbed a flt to Juno and met a guide.  We fished that whole day.  I think Diane went on a float trip thru an Eagle

rookerie.  I flew back late that day.  Got back to the ship.  We cruised overnight to Juno. I got permission to lv.

the ship quite early and fished the next day as well.

 

The trick is to make the arrangements well in advance with guides you choose.   Do not take the trips sponsored by the

cruise lines.
