Chuck There have been some great fly tiers over the years and there are some great ones today.To give someone the title of greatest fly tier is probably impossible. One of the best I ever met was Syd Glasso. Folks: I saw where Lord Byron Nelson passed away today (yesterday now) at 94 (one site I read said he was 95 so I'm not sure). Many would consider him the all time greatest golfers with 18 wins with 11 consecutive wins in 1945..That got me to thinking.. We have some great and long time tiers here.
