Ok,, Im not sure if this counts in trolling, but I was fishing in Mongaup Pond NY, (state park), canoeing and when I went to canoe away from the shore and move further out in the pond, I left the fly in the water while moving. (it was an olive beadhead wooley bugger) While paddling out towards the middle, I laid the rod down in he canoe and it almost flew out. Took a few minutes to get the fish in, but it was a nice 16 inch pickerel. I guess I was lucky to land it before it bit through the line,,only a 4x tippet. That was the only fish that morning, still alot of fun   Ray Gattus Sr
