So I suppose this could be a problem. however, last time I got bttv/xawtv working with most of my channels I doubt I had the required version (0.7.105). I suppose I can go through the process of recompiling the kernel. I tried your configuration files, and all that I got were a few channels with (most snow) and a vague signal. Also different channels, e.g. CNN on "national geographics". Also the main dutch channels (nederland 1, etc.) were not present.
