I want to build up a digital video recorder with Linux for recording analog TV (and maybe digital in the future). I found some packages and projects on the web that claim to achieve that goal. However getting and building these tools is a mess!
I tried dvr, but it doesn't translate since it needs qt 2.2.3 (I have 3.0.5)
I tried vcr, but it doesn't translate since it needs an older version of stl
VDR needs a digital satellite card in order to work.
Is there any analog recording tool out there that works without a major downgrade? I am using RedHat 6.0 on an AMD K6.
