This sounds like the effect you see when you leave realproducer expecting an
NTSC stream. As it explains in the README, you need to make sure the
environment variable VCAP_FORMAT is set to PAL (or SECAM) to get perfect
recording.
Which version of realproducer have you got? It would really be handy if
anyone could send me a copy of version 5 so I can encode to the v5 servers we
have, I have license numbers but real are quite reluctant to give older ones
out.
