I would agree that Monster sells primarily brand recognition.  I mentioned
that specific product through experience.  (Formerly working for a company
where we sometimes pulled composite video cameras out for lengths longer
than they should have been. In a very noisy commercial food environment)

Under load the cables mentioned measured 74.75 +-0.10 ohms end-to-end with a
sample of 8 cables, at 20m. With amazingly excellent loss characteristics.
Beautifully flexible plenum casing, built like a tank.  Very low noise.

I'd generally only recommend a product by name that I was particularly happy
with in experience.

(RG6 is RG56 or RG56u now, right?  I think that's the newer designation.)

I have no experience with the Monster video or audio cables.  My own video
systems use the cheapest possible cables. [grin]  (My audio uses *very* high
end.  But then, I'm a snob and I pay for it...)
