Dmitry,

I searched my gmail outgoing folder, which I have never ever deleted
anything from. No message there to anyone at veoh.com, so clearly I've
never directly emailed to join that notification list.

Here is what I think happened (best scenario): someone subscribed to
this Yahoo! group with the notify@ as their email address and
harvested addresses from people who emailed to the listserve. Whether
that was done deliberately or as an accident, I don't know. You've
been very up-front about Veoh and I don't believe this is a deliberate
part of your business model. But if notify@ has an auto-adder to it,
it would certainly be one quick way to get a bunch of email addresses
without really thinking about it.

Also, it's more than one message. I received one that's still in my
inbox (the initial press release from Maddie) and then another one
this morning, not from this Y! group, which went directly into my spam
box and which I deleted permanently about an hour ago.
