I don't know about the Audio Technica but I was thinking of getting a Sennheiser ME 66 which I've used before and gotten really great results. It pretty expensive, needs extensions to get out of the shot on a small camera and an adapter to plug in. So I gave the Rode Video Mic a shot and so for I'm pretty happy with it and my new Canon HV20.
It looks like what you get for the extra $100 is a shock mount and a mini plug which are things you'll want/need for hooking up to your camera. My one complaint is that the battery on the HV20 is loose enough to make noise when hand holding the camera. I think I'm going to have to resort to using a piece of tape to hold it still. - Verdi On 7/12/07, Heath <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I searched through the list and have asked a few people but I am > looking for some real world advice here.
