The designer on l'Argent is not an
internationally known name even though her
dresses are indeed beautiful. What about Prix de
Beauté (1930) where the clothing is designed by both Chanel and Patou?

from Masters of Cinema in England. I don't
remember the fashions at all, but it stars
Brigitte Helm and I am very positive they must
have dressed her in the latest fashions. You
don't bring in a big star and dress her in rags.
