Hi everybody, Today Thomas Jakobsen told me that VIFF can be installed and used under Windows. I'm very happy to hear that, even if I don't use Windows myself. I have updated the VIFF homepage accordingly.
That reminded me that Distutils is able to build a "Windows Installer", even when run from Linux. So I have now put such a guy up on a temporary location: http://viff.dk/tmp/viff-0.3.win32.exe The manual describes it as a self-extracting zip archive, so I assume that it simply contains the .py files. Would somebody who runs Windows please try it out and report back what happens? If it better than the normal zip file I made for the 0.3 release, then we should definitely start making these exe files when releasing. -- Martin Geisler _______________________________________________ viff-devel mailing list (http://viff.dk/) viff-devel@viff.dk http://lists.viff.dk/listinfo.cgi/viff-devel-viff.dk
